The first in the series of 7 short films for the youth programme — the Pinnacle Project. We wanted to get inside these bright clear minds — their thoughts, their personal histories, their ideas — their doubts and fears. For me this meant bypassing a traditional documentary-style representation of the students and instead developing a storytelling approach that drew us right into their stream-of-thought. Here the films act more like a series of spontaneous mental images where the voice unfolds like an entry from a personal journal or a letter to a close friend.
